How can you make a difference as a Talent Acquisition Lead?

The Talent Acquisition Lead is responsible for forecasting hiring needs and developing long-term recruiting strategies. You will build trusting relationships with potential hires and ultimately create strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. In addition, you will be responsible for:

• Identifying staffing needs, and providing best practice recruitment and onboarding support and advice.
• The full life cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing and presenting job offers to candidates
• Developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans
• Leading on establishing a positive candidate experience and employment branding initiatives

Location: Head Office/Remote

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: £38,000 – £40,000 per annum (plus £3,000 car allowance)

Contract: Permanent

A summary of main duties & responsibilities is below:

• Lead on the design and management of the company’s recruitment and selection processes ensuring potential candidates are sourced through online channels (i.e., social media platform and professional networks)
• Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
• Assess candidate information, including CVs and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System
• Manage group candidate pools to ensure potential candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities
• Build relationships and work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to keep abreast of emerging trends and innovations relating specifically to recruitment best practices
• Work closely with internal colleagues to ensure that recruitment processes are aligned, used effectively across the company and enhance the candidate and employee experience.
• Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
• Lead employer branding initiatives
• Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events
• Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs for the Group
• Use metrics to monitor performance and create reports to identify areas of improvement

What do you need to succeed?

• Proven work experience as a talent acquisition specialist or similar role
• Hands on experience of full cycle recruiting using various interview technique and evaluation methods
• Experience of employment branding
• A demonstrable understanding of recruitment methods and techniques
• Demonstrable experience of using social media, CV databases and professional networks
• Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrable ability to deliver results and work to detail
