Overview:
Reporting to the General Manager & Director of Finance, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for general office duties not limited to, ordering supplies, filing, mail/postage. Role would also be responsible for assisting DOF with; issuing and maintaining records of PO’s, coding and posting invoices, maintaining statements, journaling receipts & deposits. Duties involving the reception desk will also fall under the responsibilities, such as answering phone calls, directing and following up on inquiries. The Administrative Assistant is also responsible for the booking of casual ice rentals and working closely with tenants to book spaces within the arena.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $19.23 to $24.04.

Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude
- Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing, taking notes, and making travel plans
- Preparing meeting and training rooms
- Answering phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary
- Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks
- Performing ad-hoc administrative duties
- Answering, forwarding, and screening phone calls
- Sorting and distributing mail
- Provide excellent customer service
- Scheduling appointments
- Booking and invoicing of casual ice rentals
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 (two) years’ experience within a professional office setting
- Consistent, professional dress, and manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Good time management skills
- Experience with administrative and clerical procedures
- Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required
