Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) seeks a highly motivated Campus and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Accessibility (DEI&A) Talent Acquisition Partner (TAP). Major Duties/Responsibilities:

As a Campus and DEI&A TAP you will be responsible for executing campus and DEI&A recruiting strategies. You must comply with company policies, EEO, OFCCP, ADA, and Affirmative Action guidelines in the screening and hiring process.

This role provides a unique opportunity to shape the future of scientific discovery for years to come by attracting top talent to ORNL. Responsibilities include:

• Represent, promote, and leverage the ORNL brand and employment opportunities at job/career fairs along with appropriate staff to pipeline qualified job seekers.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to plan, organize, and lead recruiting and outreach events.
• Develop relationships with campus career services, student groups, academic leaders, and vocational schools to strengthen our employer brand presence, support a long-term growth strategy, and generate diverse and qualified applicant pools.
• Partner with TAPs and leadership to further develop and execute on sourcing opportunities; share best practices and business cases for new and innovative approaches/programs; execute and participate in those programs.
• Proactive use of ATS, social media, and other available resources to source talent and build talent pools.
• Research, evaluate, and connect with diverse, high-quality potential candidates.
• Help track metrics for campus recruiting and diversity efforts to enhance the effectiveness of strategies.
• Identify unique opportunities for engagement on campus and how most effectively we can assess talent and enhance recruiting strategies; research campus activities/groups.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach by consistently proposing and effectively implementing improvements to ORNL’s recruitment efforts.
• Deliver ORNL’s mission by aligning behaviors, priorities, and interactions with our core values of Impact, Integrity, Teamwork, Safety, and Service. Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility by fostering a respectful workplace – in how we treat one another, work together, and measure success.

Basic Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in HR, business, management, or a related field.
• Understanding of recruiting policies, procedures, compliance, and best practices.
• Microsoft Office expertise (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years of recruitment experience with a proactive approach to building relationships and networking.
• Proven ability to meet organizational hiring needs in competitive markets.
• Knowledge of OFCCP compliance and other federal and state employment laws.
• Experience utilizing ATS, LinkedIn, and other data sources for candidate sourcing along with experience using Handshake.
• Background in driving successful diversity recruitment initiatives.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and to participate creatively in collaborative teams across the laboratory.
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced research environment, set priorities to accomplish multiple tasks within deadlines, and adapt to ever changing needs.

Special Requirements:

• Ability to travel up to 80% during peak campus recruiting season.
• May be required to obtain company travel card for approved career fairs, conferences, and other events.
