Oak Hill Hiring for Learning and Talent Development Partner at Hartford, CT Full Time

Oak Hill is seeking a Learning and Talent Development Partner to support the development and continuous improvement of a comprehensive training strategy that ensures alignment of training and development with organization’s objectives.

The Learning and Talent Development Partner will work 40 hours: Monday-Friday 8a-4p with flexibility required. This is not a remote role. The incumbent will actively research and evaluate alternative learning delivery models and creatively implement and facilitate effective virtual and in-person training. The incumbent will assess developmental needs across Oak Hill, recommend specific learning initiatives and implement best-practice solutions to educate employees and enhance organization capabilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• First Aid and CPR and PMT (Physical and Psychological Management Techniques (PMT) certification required within six (6) months of hire.
• Five or more years of experience facilitating classroom training (virtual or in person).
• Experience successfully utilizing technology to deliver or facilitate training in person and in virtual learning environments.
• Possess a strong leadership and professional presence with the ability to adapt and work successfully with participants from across business units at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and provide feedback to all levels of employees within the organization– from new employees to tenured, seasoned leaders.
• Able to travel when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to determine and assess learning needs; translate determined needs into training outcomes and develop effective learning solutions to support all phases of the employee lifecycle.
• Develop and deliver effective training programs and leverage best practices to meet the business challenges and objectives of assigned business units.
• Leverages tools, technology, and innovative formats to scale learning and support employees at all stages of their careers — from new hires to individual contributors, to leadership development, and more.
• Responsible for end-to-end oversight of learning programs and projects, including coordinating work with cross-divisional teams and vendors as required.
• Applies competencies in instructional design theories, to take information, analyze it and present it in an intelligible, engaging, and efficient formation for various audiences using multimedia tools to enhance learning process.
• Recommends improvements to workflows, processes, and policies to streamline the training process.
• Responsible for training a minimum number of employees monthly.
• Collaborates directly with employee development team on projected staffing needs to ensure classroom coverage
• Provide performance consultation, including performance support and continuous learning.
• Proficient in authoring tools, including but not limited to, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Articulate 360, and Captivate.
