O Canada House Bed & Breakfast Hiring for Part-Time Weekend Breakfast Cook Full Time

Our cozy bed and breakfast are seeking a Part-Time Weekend Breakfast Cook to join our team. If you have experience in cooking, enjoy providing excellent customer service, and are available to work early mornings every Saturday and Sunday, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and serve delightful breakfasts for our guests
• Ensure that meals are cooked to perfection and elegantly presented
• Maintain a clean, replenished, organized kitchen, pantry, and dining
• Update the inventory and get groceries if needed
• Manage kitchen supplies and equipment
• Bake pastries and cookies for the guests
• Greet and assist guests with a friendly demeanor
• Provide excellent customer service to our guests
• Assist with housekeeping and front desk duties as needed

Requirements:

• Experience as a chef or cook in a professional kitchen or similar setting is required
• Knowledge and ability to cater to guests with dietary restrictions is a must
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work early mornings on Saturday and Sunday is a must, and holidays (if needed)
• Willingness to assist with various tasks as needed
• Friendly and welcoming personality
