We are seeking a driven, hands on Staff Accountant to join our ever-growing company and team.

The position requires someone experienced in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. This position will report to the Site Controller and will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

· Assisting with A/P & A/R processing as required, monthly reconciliation of purchases clearing and suspense account

· Processing monthly recurring AP billings and tracking on worksheet

· Monthly credit card reconciliations

· Monthly consignment billing tracking and entries

· Billing and cash receipts for a satellite online company

· Internal analysis reporting for departmental management – as requested

· Assisting with job closing processes

· Monthly journal entries

· Monthly allocation of benefit accounts

· Assist with monthly balance sheet review

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

· 2-3 years work experience, preferably in a manufacturing facility

· Knowledge in Sales tax and Property tax

· Knowledge in preparing year end files for the auditor is an asset

· Knowledge of A/P and A/R

· Strong Excel skills (including using V-lookups, filters, subtotals, charts and pivot tables) and should have experience with ERP systems.

· Excellent inter-personal skills, clear communicator

· Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, good analytical skills

· Proactive, highly self-motivated

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
