They are looking for software engineers to join their team in Melbourne.

Your new role

What you’ll be doing:

Interpret business requirements to assist driving high quality solution design documentation
Write functional design documentation that meets the specifications captured in solution design documentation where multiple systems are included in the design
Build high-quality software with reusable components that are simple, resilient, and performant
Develop POCs to demonstrate a technical solution
Assist with the development of accurate build and test estimates estimates
Deliver professional client communications in both a non-technical and technical manner with small groups of stakeholders
Monitor own results against objectives (individual goals and project milestones) and seeks feedback to identify ways to improve personal and team performance

What you’ll need to succeed

Bachelor’s degree or Masters in Computer Science or related field
Strong development experience with programming languages, including C#, VB.Net, Java, Python
.Net framework, SAP, PowerShell, and SQL scripting
Strong DevOps experience across the entire SDLC
Ability to design and build high-quality software that is simple, resilient and performant
Solid understanding in web application environments and development tools, event-driven application development, session state management, web configuration and deployment strategies, security and performance tuning, and debugging methodologies
Ability to set and manage priorities
High standard of written and verbal communication, excellent customer service, strong sense of urgency and a solutions focus
Interest in learning and becoming certified in an automation tool (BluePrism, UiPath, Automation Anywhere) as well as other tools (e.g. Microsoft Power Platform)
