We are looking for a full-time Business Development Manager with a minimum of 3-year working experience as a Business Development Specialist / Sales Executive, preferably within a hotel or travel management company.

ABOUT THE ROLE 

As a Business Development Manager at Nuvho, you would be responsible for:

• Executing sales management for a given portfolio of clients
• Compiling sales s to assist with day-to-day analysis of demand patterns and strategic directions
• Working closely with the Director of Sales in the implementation of a new system and procedures with a view to increasing efficiencies and market share across the portfolio
• Maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers, clients and front-of-house operations
• Having a clear understanding of the property/hotels business strategies to set goals and determine action plans to meet those goals
• Identifying new markets and business opportunities to increase sales
• Representing the property/hotel at various events and exhibitions
• Conducting daily sales calls and arranging site inspections for corporate clients
• Providing quick and timely responses, immediate communication to all clients, developing professional long-term business relationships
• Participating in sales calls with property/hotel team members to acquire new business leads and focus on closing the sales process
• Executing and supporting the operational sales process of business booked (e.g. generating rate proposals, corporate rate tenders, confirming the contract, and customer correspondence)
• Cold-calling potential customers to understand their travel & event needs
• Targeting national accounts potential for the property/hotel
• Closely following up on all business leads within a reasonable response timeline to clients
• Researching key areas of our clients to find companies that have travel or event requirements
• Calling Corporate Travel Agents that companies use for their travel or procurement needs
• Meeting and exceeding reasonable call targets – KPI’s

This role s to the Director of Sales & Sales Manager and offers true flexibility with WFH, hybrid or office-based options. We don’t mind if you go to the doctor during the day or whether your pet comes to meetings!
