NuVasive, Inc Hiring for Director, APAC Finance (Sydney, Australia) Job at Sydney Full Time

Partners with business leadership to develop actionable annual and quarterly forecasts and work with the finance and accounting teams to oversee the monthly financial close and deliver robust monthly reporting that highlight key business drivers and risks. Plays a key role in achieving the growth goals of the business by partnering with a cross-functional team to provide strategic recommendations to enhance customer relationships and maximize the growth of existing client accounts. Responsible to provide support and leadership on key strategic business and M&A initiatives. Provides insight into the performance of the business along with financial support to translate strategy into execution. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

• Drives profitable growth by providing analysis of results and reporting key metrics while advising the leadership team on risks and opportunities
• Leads annual budget and monthly forecasting cycles for revenue, operating expense, and working capital measures
• Partners with all business functions to ensure performance to financial goals
• Drives process rigor & standardization across key financial processes including forecasting, planning, closing activities and reporting
• Coaches and mentors a team of finance managers and analysts
• Supports business leaders in strategic planning and develops monthly executive-level summary packages that illustrate progress against business targets
• Completes complex analyses in all aspects of the business to help senior management understand and answer critical business issues and questions
• Provides oversight to analysis and information on the industry, competitive activity, and the impact to the Company’s performance
• Performs other duties as assigned
• 
  Willing to consider candidates located in either Singapore or Australia, and open to relocation

• Outstanding initiative and ability to manage multiple projects and teams
• Exceptional knowledge of financial planning & management (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flows)
• Proven experience demonstrating leadership and building alignment across cross-functional teams and projects to accomplish desired results, and confident in communicating with senior members of management within a global organization
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and modeling
• In depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

• Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 12 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 8 years’ experience; or equivalent experience
• CPA or MBA preferred
• SAP or other large ERP system experience
• Experience within a global matrixed organization; preferred working knowledge of medical devices, orthopedics, or spine market segments
