About Nutritional Revolution

Nutritional Revolution (NR) was created when owner Kyla Channell saw that there was a true disconnect between daily nutrition and nutrition for athletes. Specifically on when and how to use specific fueling methods to achieve optimal performance as well as health in their sport.

NR works with males and females, specializing in female specific fueling and hydration requirements depending on where you are in your hormone cycle or life stage. NR works with all types and levels of athletes whether you are a beginner or advanced athlete training for IronMan World Championship, CrossFit Games, or an Olympic Lifting meet, we can design a plan to excel your performance. In addition to helping clients fuel and hydrate properly for their activities, Nutritional Revolution works with clients of all ages, activity levels. We also work with those wanting to achieve goals of weight loss, energy stabilization, dietary changes due to allergen/sensitivities, and overall health and well being working from the inside out.

Overview of the role

The Executive Assistant/Operations Coordinator position is a part time role (20 hours per week) that will assist the CEO in the day to day operations of the business. A majority of the role (70%) will be focused on social media and outreach, however, this role will also be responsible for supporting the CEO in all business departments (30%). This position is completely remote, however, you must be available within certain time windows Monday through Friday to attend bi-weekly (2x per week) meetings with the CEO, team meetings, and other third party meetings. The pay range for this role will be $20-$30, and will depend on experience.

What you’ll do

• Plan the content calendar, design graphics using Canva, and schedule social media posts using Later
• Research the latest in sports nutrition and translate the information into digestible information for our audience
• Design, write the copy, and create graphics for e-mail newsletters using MailChimp
• Arrange recordings, edit audio and video media, and release podcast episodes via Buzzsprout
• Update website using WordPress for blog posts and any ad hoc changes to web pages
• Manage communication and meetings with team members and third parties across international time zones– including affiliates, podcast guests, and clients
• Assist with presentations by creating presentation materials using Canva or Google Sheets
• Help streamline business and practitioner protocols
• Streamline monthly analytics for social media and the annual operating plan
• Support and monitor projects and tasks in various business departments simultaneously– including marketing, operations, and finance
• Perform ad hoc tasks for the CEO as needed

Who you are

• Completed your bachelor’s degree
• Interest in health sciences, especially in sports nutrition
• Know how to read scientific journals and academic literature
• Extremely organized with strong attention to detail
• Motivated and disciplined to be able to efficiently work in a remote environment
• Creative with some graphic design experience
• Tech-savvy and able to learn new software
• Enjoy working with a small team of collaborative women
• Positive, growth mindset
