Social Media Coordinator Positon

NCI is hiring a Social Media Coordinator to take the lead on all our social platforms. The Social Media Coordinator should have a passion for storytelling and nurturing our audience with engaging content in addition to growing the platforms to expand our digital presence.

As Social Media Coordinator you will be hands-on from the concept, analytics, and ing stages on all efforts. The brand’s outbound efforts should align both with the marketing calendar and in telling the 1-Billion Person Mission.

Social Media Coordinator Job Responsibilities:

• Execute a results-driven social media strategy.
• Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
• Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
• Attend events and produce live social media content.
• Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
• Collaborate with marketing team to create a social media calendar.
• Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
• Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
• Review analytics and create s on key metrics.
• Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.

Social Media Coordinator Qualifications / Skills:

• Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
• Proficiency with video and photo and video editing tools, and digital media formats.
• Excellent social listening skills
• Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
• Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills
• Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills
• Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask
• Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• An initiative mindset is a MUST – must enjoy creating and accomplishing creative tasks and be excited to move on to the next thing
• Ability to predict and grasp future internet trends and technological trends, in order to anticipate community engagement
• Great analytical, multitasking, and communication skills
• A passion for health, wellness, and positively impacting people

Results

• Drive increased brand awareness while also driving leads through CTAs
• Content is congruent with NCI core values and mission
• Content schedule is adhered to, consistent, and mirrors that of the marketing calendar
• Content produced is of the highest quality
• Content created does not violate any platform specific guidelines

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (applicants without a formal degree will be considered based on previous work experience and track record)
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience with social media marketing
• Direct experience using social media management tools, specifically HubSpot and/or Hootsuite
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing toolsHOURS: Monday – Friday 8:30 to 5:30 PM EST (Flexibility Offered)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 per year
