Reporting to the Division General Manager, this position is responsible for supporting the Division Management team’s people, operational and financial objectives.
What you will do:
Prepare, edit and format various confidential documents including briefing materials, strategic planning reports, budgets, agreements, presentations and material related to collective bargaining
Manage, develop and implement administrative processes related to customer account management, accounts payable and general administrative duties, including but not limited to AFE and property files
Assist the Management Team with Divisional budget administration and preparation
Assist the Management Team with the Divisional administration of company policies and procedures, including Human Resource policies
Assist the Management Team with the Divisional strategy, implementation and administration of company Human resource policies and procedures, including training administration and matters related to collective bargaining
Coordinate administration of all new hire/re-hire paperwork and partner with Human Resources in all human resource management for the Division
Assist in forecasting and planning process for the division in collaboration with the Division team
Responsible for training of Customer Service Reps within the assigned Division
Assist with and/or supervises other key divisional tasks, including; inventory management protocols (including audits); financial reporting; time management; customer inquiries; supporting logistics teams during busy seasons to ensure safe, prompt, and efficient distribution activities; management of key divisional contracts (including auditing invoices and accounts to verify the accuracy of rates and charge outs)
Communicate with all parties including end use customers, employees and producers to ensure all customers’ expectations are met or exceeded
Maintain ongoing and regular communications with staff to build relationships and ensure satisfaction, adherence to contract terms and the growth and maintenance of strong business relationships
Track progress towards the achievement of business plans and objectives, and initiates action as required
Comply with and enforce all Nutrien and industry regulatory and safety, health and environment standard
Perform other related duties as required
What you will bring:
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage people
Accounting experience preferred; may be required
3+ years of demonstrated experience in vocational agricultural or in a combination of supervisory, education and work experience
Agricultural based degree desired
Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
