Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Accounting / Finance Manager to join our Team. The position will have full responsibility for the day-to-day accounting activities, month end close, and month end financial reporting activities. The Accounting / Finance Manager reports to the and works closely with the CFO in all business financial matters. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. The position manages deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and support of budget and forecasting activity. The Accounting / Finance Manager interacts with all levels of the organization which requires strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal. The right candidate has the opportunity to expand role to increasing levels of responsibility beyond the manager role and grow into a larger role as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assigning accounting tasks or projects to a company’s finance and accounting staff
• Developing a company’s financial and accounting policies, workflows and methods after consultations with heads of finance
• Manage operating cash flow for the company
• Managing a team of AR and AR specialists
• Providing all accounting and financial reports and documents needed by the company’s external auditors
• Evaluating a company’s financial transactions to ensure they comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Administer and manage company operating budgets
• Preparation and management of company’s financial statements to leadership team

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance and managing a team
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA, ACCA, or CMA is a plus
• Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead and develop a team
• Strong communication skills with ability to influence across the organization
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
