About the job:
To be the driving force behind staff engagement, retention and to articulate and carry out a strategy to increase staff numbers during a period of growth, including increasing permanent staff numbers and reduce reliance on temporary workers.
· Full Recruitment cycle from job descriptions, selection, interview and employee on-boarding.
· Utilising our cloud-based system to manage Payroll functions, timesheets, holidays, absence management, disciplinaries and staff contracts and documents etc.
· Working with department heads to create a structured and nurturing development schedule for new starters and existing staff. We truly believe in rewarding staff for excellence.
· Employee appraisals and Pay reviews
· Work to increase our shift patterns by engaging with regular staff and targeting recruits to add a night shift to production cycle.
· Flexible working considered and open to part time and full-time roles
About you:
You will drive a high-performance culture by coaching and challenging managers. You will thrive in a fast paced, fast growing business and be a key on our next stage of growth.
Have an entrepreneurial flair and be able to understand the needs of the business and identify areas for improvement.
Ideally CIPD Level 5 or above
Salary starting at 45k per annum (or pro rata’d for part-time
