Nustadia Recreation, operators of the HRM 4Pad Arena (formerly the BMO Centre) in Bedford are looking to hire both full and part-time arena operators for the upcoming season.

Main Duties

• Ice Maintenance
• Facility Maintenance and Upkeep

Ideal Candidate

• Previous arena experience is preferred, however, training is provided
• Mechanical aptitude and experience working around equipment, machines and/or tools
• Excellent communication skills as the role involved dealing with the public
• Dependable, reliable and honest
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Able to work days, evenings and weekends
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Clean criminal record
• Valid drivers license with at least a couple of years driving experience

Typical wage range for arena operators is $16 – $18. Wage is commiserate based on experience and qualifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: From $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
