NuScript is looking for a Medical Transcription Supervisor/Manager to supervise medical transcription, clinical documentation, and EHR integration functions and manage day-to-day operations in addition to ongoing customer care and support and liaison with marketing and sales staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision of medical transcriptionists and other assigned personnel.
• Develop and complete performance evaluations.
• Monitor time and attendance, approve and track requested time off, and monitor workloads.
• Oversee orientation and training of new staff. Coordinate on-going training for staff.
• Provide high level of coordination and excellent customer service.
• Communicate with medical practices, insurance companies, and other offices regarding medical record requests and patient information.
• Fax and mail medical records to medical practices, insurance companies, and other offices.
• Work closely with our billing department to ensure accuracy of each patient’s visit.
• Run daily transcription s and determines items needing special or immediate attention.
• Work in conjunction with other departments such as sales, IT, etc, providing support to achieve organizational goals consistently and continuously.
• Supervise and manage EHR documentation.
• Answer calls from the clinic and external physicians and process requests.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with cross-departmental teams to implement improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated technical skills in the use of EHR systems.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft office applications.
• Ability to communicate in both technical and non-technical formats.
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, delegate, and reprioritize tasks as necessary.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work in fast- paced, dynamic team environment.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Strong customer support skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 – $50,000.00 per month

• Bachelor’s (Preferred)
