Position Summary:
The Talent Sourcer will play a critical role in the success of finding top scientific talent. The primary responsibility is to proactively maintain a steady pipeline of qualified talent for current and future openings. The Sourcer will have deep knowledge of sourcing techniques that include, but are not limited to job boards, referrals, niche groups, social networks, and data mining. You will also be responsible for conducting thorough pre-screenings before presenting them to the Senior Recruiter.

The Talent Sourcer must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. A high sense of urgency will play a critical requirement in this role. To be successful in this role, you must practice interoperability and maintain high standards.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and requirements for scientific roles and develop a sourcing strategy to identify potential candidates
• Identify and source top scientific talent utilize various sourcing channels, including but not limited to, LinkedIn, social media, professional networks, job boards, and referrals
• Screen and assess candidate qualifications and interest in available positions
• Build and maintain a candidate pipeline by using innovative sourcing techniques and engaging candidates on an ongoing basis
• Conduct initial outreach and communication with candidates to establish interest in available positions
• Provide regular updates to recruiters and hiring managers on the status of the candidate pipeline
• Ensure that all candidate information is accurately recorded and managed in our applicant tracking system (ATS)
• Continuously evaluate and refine sourcing strategies to improve effectiveness and efficiency

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or related field
• 3+ years of experience in scientific recruitment or sourcing, preferably in a life sciences or biotech environment
• Strong knowledge of scientific terminology and concepts to effectively source and screen candidates
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders
• Proven track record of identifying and sourcing top talent using various sourcing channels and techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting software/tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

• Must be comfortable working in a facility that produces radiation.
• Work to be conducted in both an office environment and the production facility.
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
• Frequent use of computer with repetitive use of keyboard, mouse and manual dexterity.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
