An organization that provides an incredible work environment, and the distinction of working with some of the nation’s most respected and accomplished physicians, addiction and mental health professionals while providing a meaningful program will improve the quality of life of our clients, families, co-workers in the communities that we live in! *Qualifications – A passion for helping others* The ideal Clinical Director candidate maintains an active LADC, LCSW, LMHC or LPC, has 2 or more years of Management experience, working knowledge of levels of care, accreditation standards, crisis intervention, and is more than familiar with the needs of a primary substance use disorder population Master’s Degree in Social Work (or a related Human Services field) is preferred *Responsibilities* · This position s directly to the Executive Director; he/she works closely with the Executive team and is responsible for the supervision of Clinical and Case Management staff · Maintains an effective clinical organizational structure and delegate’s authority for completion of responsibilities · Functions as leader of multi-disciplinary Clinical Treatment Team/staffing meetings in absence of Executive Director · Delivers direct patient services, such as primary therapist, performing individual and group therapist sessions, and documentation of events, as needed · Provides for staff development (i.e., supervision, educational, etc.) · Facilitates communication with ancillary services and facilitates case management services · Recruits and interviews new employees · Attends clinical and administrative meetings to integrate inter-departmental sharing of information · Works Collaboratively with the Senior Management Team · Knowledge of policies and procedures and ability to communicate these clearly and accurately to staff · Displays ability to direct and supervise clinical staff and activities · Evaluates clinical staff based on specified performance standards, on a timely basis · Initiates appropriate counseling and disciplinary action for infraction of policy · Evaluates the impact of therapeutic interventions upon the therapeutic milieu · Assists in formulating standards for patient care · Understand and apply the program’s clinical philosophy · Evaluates patient care weekly by assessing patients · Participates in the formulation and implementation of patient treatment plans · Aware of staff strengths and limitations and makes assignments accordingly · Maintain clinical records according to program policies and those of licensing and accrediting agencies · Coordination of daily utilization review tasks such as: (1) responding to UR thread, (2) review of patient’s clinical and medical record, (3) consulting with DON on appropriate patient LOC, (4) completion of ASAM that inform transfer summaries, (5) preparing all of these factors to ensure an appropriate outcome for patient · Reviews and approves preadmissions · Completion of weekly random clinical chart audits · Completion of QA and Compliance s for PI · Rotates on call with Management Team · Seeks final approval for any employee and patient issues from Executive Director · Demonstrates ability to work with Substance Abuse clients · Responsible for daily operations of facility *Benefits* · Progressive, creative collaborative work environment · Internal site and corporate promotional opportunities · Annual performance increases · Employee Assistance Program · Medical, Vision and Dental Insurance for Full-time employees · Supplemental Insurance plans · 6 Paid Holidays: New Years, Memorial, Independence, Labor, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day · EOE *Company Description* NuLife Behavioral Health is committed to creating a system of leaders and centers of excellence in the addiction and mental health care industry.
