Assistant Accountant

We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our finance team in Nudie Jeans Pty Ltd. In this position you will manage the accounts receivable and payable function as well as assisting with a variety of other tasks. You will work alongside various departments in the company utilising your skills, and we believe that the successful candidate is a true team player who loves providing excellent service both externally and internally.

About the position

In the position of Assistant Accountant, you will report to the Financial Manager at Nudie Jeans Pty Ltd. You will be responsible for the accounts receivable and payable function for the company, but the position will also include various kinds of other tasks such as reconciliation, assisting in fortnightly payroll, periodic closing and ad-hoc reporting. This is a full-time permanent position with an initial probationary period of 6 months, based in Sydney.

Main responsibilities, but not limited to:

Accounts Receivable:

• Invoicing
• Allocating payments in the ERP
• Direct Contact with customers
• Managing customer account details

Accounts Payable:

• Post supplier invoices in the ERP
• Payments
• Contact with suppliers

Experiences and Qualifications:

The qualifications required for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Minimum 2 years experience with business administration or accounting
• Knowledge of complex ERP system(s) IE M3/INFOR/Oracle/SAP
• Great communication skills
