Nu Edge Construction/Nu Edge Rail is currently looking for an individual to manage Human Resources and Marketing.
Human Resources responsibilities include:
–Publish and update job ads
-Schedule & conduct interviews
-Maintain employee records
-Screen resumes and job applications
-Ensure proper communication to all employees regarding notices and policies
-Ensure staff are acting in accordance with company policies
-Assist with orientations and provide materials to new hires
-Store, copy, and scan company policies
-Address employee queries
-Other duties as requested by management
Skills Required
–Recruitment experience
-Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with management
-Self- direction when completing projects and an ability to work with minimum supervision
-Ability to organize tasks efficiently and to handle unexpected events
-Comfortable with disciplinary and/or termination practices
-Understanding of the Employment Standards codes for Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia
Marketing responsibilities include:
· Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified traffic to our front door
· Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
· Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis
· Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups
· Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely
· Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and case studies
· Measure and on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
· Evaluating and optimizing marketing and pricing strategies.
· Developing and managing the marketing department’s budget.
· Overseeing branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
Requirements and skills
· Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
· Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
· Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
· A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication

Salary: $50,933.79-$85,000.00 per year
