As Software Engineer, you will design and develop software and services to manage, automate, monitor, and analyze the NTT Global IP Network (AS 2914). You will work with IP Development and Network Operations to enhance and extend our network automation platform.

Minimum Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Self-discipline and an ability to self-direct

• Ability to effectively collaborate with fully remote teams

  • Prior experience working remotely is preferred

• 5+ years of experience with at least one widely used programming language

• Experience or familiarity with:

  • Python 3

  • SQL / RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)

  • HTTP API patterns (e.g., REST, GraphQL)

  • Version control (Git)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience or familiarity with:

• Linux/UNIX

• Node.js or C/C++

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript/ES6+, DOM, React

• Browser security (e.g., XSS, CSRF)

Responsibilities

• Work with other Global IP Network departments to identify problems that need solving. Then, solve them.

• Design and develop software and services to further our mission:

  • Streamline operations

  • Reduce time-to-provision

  • Empower customer-facing teams to deliver customer success

• Enhance and extend the Global IP Network SDN Controller

• Maintain a current working knowledge in relevant technologies / languages

• Maintain a current working knowledge of application security best practices

Location Requirements

Engineering at NTT Global IP Network is remote-first. This position is fully remote and is open to candidates anywhere in the United States, as well as candidates outside the United States.
