Terms of Employment

• W2 Contract, 24 Months
• The position is two days in the office (Tuesday & Wednesday) and three days remote
  • Position can to Carney’s Point (NJ) or Edison Place (D.C.) office
  • Local candidates who can travel for team meetings
• Work Schedule: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Candidates should be from the Philadelphia metro or Washington, DC metro regions.

Overview

The Marketing team supports marketing and advertising of programs offered to customers. This includes energy efficiency, electric vehicles, energy assistance and more.The team current consists of a manager, three full-time employees and two contractors. This requisition fills a third contract position that was recently vacated. This position supports all marketing for industrial energy efficiency programs. This position will support the development and deployment of advertising and marketing collateral for commercial and industrial energy efficiency programs. They will work closely with our marketing agency and internal energy efficiency program teams. Typical work week includes meetings with the agency, program teams, reviewing and trafficking materials for approvals, and liaising with other internal/external partners as required.

• Responsibilities include:
  • Working with ACE C&I Energy Efficiency team to determine program marketing needs.
  • Liaising with marketing services vendor to develop marketing and advertising strategy.
  • Working with ACE EV team and marketing agency to develop marketing and advertising strategy.
  • Coordinating marketing and advertising campaigns based on C&I business needs in an effort to grow customer enrollment in relevant programs.
  • Managing email marketing and support digital customer outreach.
  • Working with the Energy Efficiency Program Team to gather requirements.
  • Supporting content development and formatting (e.g., writing, sourcing images, etc.).
  • Special project research and coordination as assigned.
  • Customer billing communications.
  • Main point-of-contact for internal stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, advertising/public relations, marketing, English or business administration.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant marketing experience, corporate communications or agency role.
  • Note: Candidate should provide an example of copy writing or marketing/communications materials they have developed.
• Familiar with Microsoft products (Teams, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Strong, demonstrated written and oral communications skills.
  • This includes copywriting and editing for email marketing and website content as needed.
  • Experience working with external vendors/vendor management in the marketing space
• Has strong writing and project management skills
• Experience working with one or more marketing agencies as part of ongoing marketing initiatives.
• Must be able to work with limited supervision (once onboarded) and meet internal/external deadlines.
• Intermediate level of Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat for day-to-day work.
• Strong attention to detail.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Prior work in the utility sector.
• Experience working in corporate marketing/communications or in a market agency environment.
• Experience with marketing and/or communications in a technical field not required but may be helpful for this position.
• Knowledge of digital marketing and advertising media.
