About The Role
Our Internal Communications Advisor develops, manages and implements all stages of our creative internal communications strategies. Your goal will be to build employee engagement, cultivate a positive organisational culture and effectively communicate Local Land Services’ key policies, plans and programs.
Forming strong internal stakeholder relationships is a crucial aspect of this role. You will obtain input, monitor stakeholder needs, interests, and issues, and offer valuable suggestions to ensure that the materials are fitting, pertinent, and informative. Your expertise in drafting and editing written material within tight timeframes will shine as you support business units in creating effective internal communication materials.
Collaboration will be at the heart of your work as you establish and maintain strong relationships with various business units across the Portfolio. By working together, you will support the successful delivery of Portfolio driven campaigns and programs.
Our ideal candidate will be a talented communicator with a passion for establishing and maintaining employee engagement and fostering a positive and inclusive organisational culture. You will be innovative and be able to think outside the box and take the lead to develop and implement communication strategies and compelling content to engage and communicate with internal stakeholders.
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in communications or other relevant discipline and/or equivalent relevant experience
- Driver’s licence and willingness to travel
- Extensive experience in the development and delivery of internal communications including internal events, awards, staff surveys, intranet and a willingness to establish other new employee communication channels
- Delivering effective internal communications in a complex, geographically dispersed organisation.
