About the team

The Centre for Property Acquisition (CPA) is a centre of excellence, established to ensure a customer-focussed, best practice approach to property acquisition is undertaken consistently across NSW. Included in the remit of the CPA are improving the quality and consistency of property acquisition experiences through advocating new policy directions, through improving the capability of Acquisition Authorities, through promotion of increased understanding and transparency around the acquisition process, through offering a point of escalation for customers, and acting as the voice of the customer within government.

The opportunity

Reporting to the Business and Finance Analyst, Customer Strategy & Technology – Centre for Property Acquisition, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day project management, operational and administrative activities to support project specific and ongoing team related objectives.

Key priorities/ deliverables

You will be involved in:

• Provide project and operational support, including monitoring and reporting on project plans, milestones, and deliverables, to ensure time, cost and quality indicators are in line with approved project plans.
• Update and collate documentation and records regarding issues, policies, and practices to ensure the delivery of projects complies with agreed project management methodology.
• Provide a range of administrative services, including coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, meeting documentation and other tasks to support program management delivery.
• Communicate with relevant stakeholders to provide updates regarding project status and implementation issues.
• Assist in identifying, prioritising and determining urgency of the critical issues requiring attention and support.
• Work cooperatively and demonstrate a continuous improvement and growth mind-set by contributing and testing ideas for improving work practices, collaborating with internal and external business areas, to achieve objectives and work outcomes.

About you

You build relationships easily with external and internal stakeholder and you are a team player with a can do attitude, excellent communication skills and solid experience operating in a complex customer centric fast paced environment. You are problem solver and take initiative.

We are looking for a great collaborator with proven track record of supporting technical project managers/ and or programs managers.

• You are a quick learner on using different systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Salesforce or Property acquisition background/ experience will be highly desirable
• Demonstrated experience in project and stakeholder management
• Demonstrated proficiency computing skills, including Microsoft Office applications

Salary and Benefits
