The division thrives in providing a robust to commercial management, ensuring financial sustainability across the cluster and driving strategic projects, procurement and transformation through the provision of corporate services to internal clients.
The opportunity
An exciting new opportunity now exists for a Payroll Accounting Officer within Transport Shared Services- Finance & Procurement team in our Corporate Services division. This is a Permanent full time opportunity, based in Burwood however with the current COVID environment the incumbent of the role will have the option of working from home.
The Payroll Accounting Officer is responsible for providing end-to-end payroll accounting services encompassing payroll accounting transactions, payroll related General Ledger reconciliations, and payroll reporting ensuring compliance with legislation, policies and accounting standards.
The role works in a team environment, assisting and complementing the work of others in the payroll accounting team, working closely with a range of stakeholders, and ensuring that payroll accounting issues are resolved satisfactorily and speedily, and in line with performance benchmarks and expectations.
To be successful in this role you would have experience working in payroll accounting for large organisation, the ability to plan and prioritise tasks, work effectively in a team environment, ability to think analytically and problem solve, sound financial acumen and act with integrity.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is Transport Grade 6 ($92,982 to $102,280) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
