About The Role

  • Our successful candidates will be working with women and midwives in the birthing and postnatal units, in a supportive role as an Assistant in Midwifery
  • This role offers clinical support which is available from the education, management and midwifery team.
  • We are looking for motivated, kind, respectful Assistants in Midwifery to join our team.

  • You will be working in a supportive environment amongst the Multi disciplinary team providing women centred care to the women of the Hunter.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in the Bachelor of Midwifery program at University of Newcastle in second year, first semester or third year.
  • Currently enrolled or successfully completed Midwifery Practice & Woman with Complex Care Neets A- MIDI 2105.

This is a Category A position.
