About the team
The Infrastructure and Place division is in the process of delivering a once-in-a generation multi-billion program of public infrastructure works which will ease congestion, improve safety, create new places and connect communities for generations to come. We are dedicated and passionate team that is proud of the work we do and the supportive and flexible team culture we have built.
The opportunity
Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Planner to join a multi-billion dollar, high profile roads/infrastructure project..
The primary purpose of the role is to develop and maintain project schedules for a large construction project, to monitor key activities and assess impacts to achievements of key milestones for the full lifecycle of projects/programs. The role will also develop an integrated control schedule for the whole program-project lifecycle by phase in-line with the Schedule Management Procedure. Monitor the project/program schedule through the development and delivery phases, including working with the detailed contractor schedule.
The role will obtain and understand the needs and expectations of a wide range of stakeholders and communicate effectively with them to ensure priorities and agendas align.

About you
You are an experienced senior Planner, ideally within Construction or Infrastructure projects with large major project experience. You have a strong grasp of the use of Primavera software, excellent team working skills and would like to join a successful project team delivering one of the high profile infrastructure projects in Australia.
You have outstanding organisational skills and an ability to work under pressure. You are a problem-solver with a strong customer focus, who enjoys working as part of a team.
Ideally you have strong planning and scheduling experience. This is a hands on role that will require the scheduler to undertake all month end tasks to meet tight reporting deadlines. Thus, we are looking for candidates with previous hands-on construction experience, strong P6 & panning skills as well as strong stakeholder and contractor management skills. A good understanding of TfNSW planning processes and governance requirements will also be advantageous.
Salary and Benefits
The role being offered is a Grade 9 role with associated salary banding
