About the team

The Centre for Property Acquisition (CPA) is a centre of excellence, established to ensure a customer-focussed, best practice approach to property acquisition is undertaken consistently across NSW. Included in the remit of the CPA are improving the quality and consistency of property acquisition experiences through advocating new policy directions, through improving the capability of Acquisition Authorities, through promotion of increased understanding and transparency around the acquisition process, through offering a point of escalation for customers, and acting as the voice of the customer within government.

The opportunity

Right now, we have an opportunity for a Communications and Engagement Officer to join us in the Customer Strategy & Technology division

The role assists in the development and delivery of high value, future-focused communication and engagement strategies for key programs and projects to support and drive optimal outcomes for our partners, stakeholders and customers.

• Assist in the delivery of strategic communications and engagement activities in line with Transport’s vision, values and business priorities

• Assist in the development of impactful and targeted collateral to effectively communicate key messages to varied audiences

• Assist the team in the development of engaging content and identify effective style and channels to support communication and engagement outcomes

• Assist continuous improvement through implementation of appropriate metrics that evaluate the success of communications and engagement strategies and initiative

About you

You are a passionate communications officer looking for an opportunity to hit the ground running in this role. You will be a self starter who has excellent attention to detail and can coordinate and assist with multiple project activities at the one time.

You will have relevant communication experience. Ideally, you also have a strong technical ability as you will create and manage website content and work closely with video producers to create content.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is Grade 7A ($106,086) – 7E ($118,816) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
