About the team

This role is part of the Sydney Metro Finance team and sits in the Corporate Services. In this role work collaboratively with the statutory reporting team. You will Present thoroughly researched and reliable analytical financial advice on issues of major importance to both Sydney Metro and the Government of NSW and support the senior management as required.

The opportunity

Right now, we have an opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join us on a permanent basis. The primary purpose of the role is to provide financial reporting assistance to the Manager, Statutory Reporting This includes analysis of financial information to ensure compliance with relevant accounting and financial reporting requirements. Preparation of financial statements, managing year end external audit process.

About you

You have a membership of a professional accounting body, with extensive experience within financial reporting in a large complex organisation preferably with a focus on infrastructure projects. With experience in the Preparation of financial statements, managing year end external audit process. You have excellent stakeholder management to work with the wider statutory reporting team and other key stakeholders across Sydney Metro.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is Grade 8A ($120,423) – 8E ($134,872) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
