Talent Acquisition Advisor

Do you have experience working in talent acquisition and recruitment environment? Can you build positive working relationships with hiring managers to support them in finding high performing talents to work for us?

We currently have two full time vacancies to join our People & Culture team in talent acquisition.

• 1x ongoing and 1x temporary full-time opportunities working 35 hours per week
• Parramatta location with flexible and hybrid working options available
• Clerk Grade 7/8. Base salary $101,947 to $112,849 p.a. plus superannuation and annual leave loading

About us

NSW Trustee & Guardian protects, promotes and supports the rights, dignity, choices and wishes of the people of NSW. The agency supports the Chief Executive Officer and the Public Guardian to provide customer-centred services to the people of NSW, including some of the state’s most vulnerable. We do this by providing a range of multidisciplinary services including Will-making, estate planning, executorship, trustee, financial management and guardianship services.

We write more than 13,000 estate planning documents each year, support over 49,000 customers annually and manage over seven billion dollars in customer assets. A NSW government agency within the Stronger Communities Cluster, our services help support and protect people at critical moments in their lives.

About the team

The Strategy, People and Governance division provides a wide range of enabling services including audit, risk and compliance, ministerial and external relations, people and culture, and policy services.

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Advisor provides expert advice on talent attraction and acquisition and supports the talent lifecycle from onboarding through to offboarding. This is an exciting opportunity that will see you:

• establish effective partnerships with hiring managers across NSW Trustee & Guardian
• manage the end-to-end recruitment process and providing fit-for-purpose assessment strategies
• provide coaching and support to hiring managers on legislative compliance
• manage and maintain candidate relationships through providing meaningful and constructive feedback to ensure positive customer experience.

About you

We are looking for an experienced talent acquisition advisor who can manage the end-to-end talent acquisition process and provide support and guidance to hiring managers in getting the right person for the role.

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex talent issues and work within a fast-paced environment whilst balancing competing priorities.
• Ability to operate with minimum supervision and capable of meeting challenging timeframes.

Essential requirements

• Demonstrated experience in recruitment, selection and talent acquisition.
• Extensive experience in recruitment and knowledge of relevant policies and procedure legislation.
• Demonstrated working experience and skills with HR Systems and/or Recruitment management systems.
• Up to date COVID-19 vaccination status and able to provide acceptable proof.
