Your role
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will partner with the senior executive cohort in the Department to deliver best practice executive recruitment services and support the end-to-end executive employee lifecycle.

You will:

• Be a trusted partner to the Department’s executive on all things related to executive talent acquisition
• Develop and implement candidate attraction and assessment strategies to ensure that the Department is selecting the best executive talent in the market
• Manage the recruitment of roles end to end and build candidate pipelines for future recruitment
• Take lead on candidate management and build/maintain our candidate talent pools ensuring they are up to date, promoted and used within the Department
• Provide support and coaching to hiring managers through the recruitment and selection lifecycle ensuring compliance with the Department’s processes and best practices
• Work on improvement projects to further enhance the talent acquisition service

From understanding workforce planning needs and designing sourcing strategies through to the offer of employment, you will navigate multiple platforms and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. This is a role where adding value, building relationships and being the subject matter expert is key to success.

You will join a small close-knit team who are extremely customer and results focused and enjoy in-team banter, with the occasional group lunch and cake!

• You will be collaborative, agile, and disciplined about delivering outcomes for the students of NSW
• You are excited by challenges and thrive working in an environment where you can problem solve for your clients and recommend practical recruitment solutions that you think will make a difference
• You are a seasoned recruitment specialist with previous experience delivering an end-to-end service with a focus on continuous improvement
• You have a natural ability to build and maintain strong relationships with your stakeholders
• You are confident navigating multiple platforms to identify and attract the best talent (experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK talent search is advantageous)
