The positions will sit within Finance Analysis and Partnership team in the Strategic Budgeting and Partnership directorate. This unit provides operational, tactical and strategic financial planning and analysis support to Divisional stakeholders. A key responsibility of this team is to provide financial analysis and insight to Divisional stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective allocation of funds and delivery of outcomes.
About the role
The role is primarily responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on the financial management of assigned Directorates or Divisions. The scope of work is defined by the operational priorities of the assigned business unit and the financial reporting and analysis required to enable effective decision making, the role is responsible for leading a team/ projects or programs to deliver accurate, reliable and focused results that meet stakeholder expectations and the Directorate’s service delivery standards. The role supports senior managers in the implementation of innovative solutions to achieve continuous improvements in corporate financial programs, processes and service delivery.

About you
This role partners with business units and program areas to provide high level financial advice, analysis and decision support to shape and facilitate the achievement of strategic outcomes.
You will collaborate with key stakeholders to develop an understanding of the business and key drivers influencing business performance. Provide high level financial advice, financial management information and insights to support strategic decision making. Have solid presentation skills to engage audience at various levels along with Strong communication skills – able to communicate effectively key messages with stakeholders, have an adaptive style and influence outcomes.
