About The Role

If creating change through understanding and adapting processes interests you, this might be the role to strengthen your career experience and potentially lead to your next Business Analyst role.

You will receive hands-on technical experience, coaching, and other development opportunities as you support and learn to gather and analyse technical requirements, develop and maintain documentation, support process mapping improvements and assist with testing to fulfill client needs. This is an opportunity to contribute and experience business analysis, and project management in the NSW Government, with numerous opportunities for development and progression. The role is suited to someone recently out of TaFE, university, looking for a career change, or seeking to start a career with the NSW Government.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist the team in collecting and analysing user requirements.
• Help to prepare technical documents.
• Assist the team with business process flows and systems to identify existing and develop new processes.
• Help prepare analyst s for stakeholders and other team members.
• Assist the Senior Manager PMO in developing business intelligence tools for the monitoring and analysis of business performance.

About You

Are you naturally curious about how business operations work? Are you interested in analysing the details to improve a process? Do you have a fine eye for detail and methodical approach? Are you comfortable with participating in a team environment? Are you eager to learn and adapt? Then we want to hear from you!

Essential Requirements

• TAFE or tertiary qualifications in Business or ICT or relevant experience.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, and Power BI.
