Courts, Tribunals and Service Delivery are recruiting to fill a temporary role at its Sydney CBD office (initially 12 months with a possibility of extension)

About the organisation

Communities and Justice (DCJ) enables services to better work together to support everyone’s right to access justice, support families and strengthen/bolster the promotion of early intervention and inclusion, with benefits for the whole community.

The Project Management Office provide a broad range of financial services to support statutory compliance requirements and achieve business objectives.

About the role

The role is accountable for the day-to-day delivery of project finance and related administrative services. The role defers to the Senior PMO Financial Analyst and Director, Portfolio Management and Planning on issues that require financial delegation or matters with strategic or significant ramifications.

Duties

In addition to meeting the essential requirements, the successful candidate must demonstrate strong capabilities in:

• Carrying out financial transactions in an environment where there is a range of complexity in budgets and funding arrangements.
• Experience in processing end of month journals, capitalisation of assets, purchase order processing and reconciliation of GL accounts.
• Deliver project management and support services within tight timeframes, and with limited resources.

Role requirements

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant financial or accounting discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience.

Excellent technology skills including the ability to use a range of information systems, including MS Excel, SAP, and PPM Tools.
