Finance Project Officer, Corporate Services Division, Crown Solicitor’s Office

Salary Classification: Finance Project Officer (Clerk Grade 5/6)
Employment Status: Temporary Assignment (up to 12 months, with the possibility of extension)
Salary Range: $87,493 – $96,540 p.a.
(Package up to $107,488 including base salary, employer’s contribution to superannuation and annualised leave loading.)
Location: Sydney CBD

We are seeking expressions of interest from Public Sector employees interested to join the CSO as the Finance Project Officer.

About the Role
Support the implementation of a range of Finance projects and contribute to delivering project milestones reporting accountabilities and compliance with relevant accounting standards, public sector accounting policies, practices and statutory requirements.

To be considered for a role, you must have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Finance or Economics and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Sound knowledge of public sector accounting policies, practices, the Treasurer’s Directions, current Finance Acts, current Trust legislation and relevant GST compliance requirements.

Being vaccinated with two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine and providing evidence of that vaccination prior to commencing duty at the Crown Solicitor’s Office is a condition of employment unless you are unable to be vaccinated because of a medical contraindication. (Note: COVID-19 vaccine means a vaccine approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration of the Commonwealth for use as a vaccine against COVID-19).
