About the role
The role reports to the Manager, Funding Arrangements and supports the optimal financial functioning of the State’s disaster expenditure funding. The successful applicant will assist the Funding Arrangements team to undertake finance and assurance functions as required.

About you

• We’re looking for a talented finance professional with a customer-centric approach who has a proven track record in working collaboratively and supporting a team to develop timely and accurate reporting.
• We need someone who knows how to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders and have strong attention to detail. The successful applicant will also have.
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or relevant equivalent experience.
• Membership of CA or CPA or equivalent professional body.
• Experience with auditing and financial management
• Experience providing relevant funding related advice to customers and stakeholders
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• An ability and willingness to travel within NSW and support other operational roles during disasters, emergencies and other events, consistent with skills, background and personal circumstances.
• Full vaccination for COVID 19, except where a medical contraindication certificate is provided
