Job Description

Join our NRB Modular Solutions team, where our people are driven by a desire to innovate, do social good, and move construction forward.

The Forklift Operator, reporting to the Supervisor of Materials Distribution, is responsible for the Movement, Loading/Unloading and Storage of materials. Position is Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm

This position is safety sensitive and requires drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment.

Your work will include:
Daily inspection and documentation of equipment.

Unloading of trucks and storage of materials.

Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in a warehouse, tool room, supply room or other area.

Participate in electronic inventory capture receiving and issuance.

Engage internal customers and respond to requests.

Load and unload, move or stack materials or products.

Completes daily Job Hazards Assessments and Pre Job Task Hazard Analysis forms.

Additional Duties as instructed.

Qualifications

Min 2 years experience (ticketed) in forklift operation.

Organization and cleanliness of equipment and facility location.

Ability enter / transfer information electronically via I Pad

Experience in a manufacturing environment an asset.

At least 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment is an asset.

Able to work individually and as a team member able to safely and comfortably carry out physical duties – lift max 45 lb and walk on rough terrain.

Attention to the details (clean up, stock level, observe damages, etc.)

Attention to health/safety of self and co-workers.
