NPLH Drilling Hiring for Reverse Circulation Drilling Mechanic at Timmins, ON Full Time

Candidates must have the following:
Need a grade 12 education or equivalent.

Must have 10 to 15 years experience working in a mine setting.

Must have a full understanding of mine safety and work within safety regulations.

Must be Red Seal certified.

Must be able to diagnose, replace/repair parts and make all necessary adjustments/alignments.

Must be able to accommodate a rotational schedule while working in extreme conditions.

Have prior experience as Foreman or Lead Hand.

Must be organized, able to manage a Preventative Maintenance program. Ex: Scheduling…

Must have excellent written and communication skills.

Proficiency with all tools of the trade.

Candidates shall have knowledge of the following:
Lubrication

Hydraulics

Pneumatics

Read and understand schematic drawings, electrical, hydraulics

Computer skills in Excel/Word

Diagnostics software, SIS, ET, VIMS…

Repairing and maintaining surface Reverse Circulation drills and Surface Diamond drills.

Repairing and maintaining heavy equipment dozer, excavator, diesel generators, high pressure air compressors and much more.
