Novolex Holdings, LLC Hiring for Customer Service Agent at Montréal-Est, QC Full Time

Position Summary:
As the conduit of information from customer to production floor to shipping, Customer Service’s function is to ensure this information is communicated accurately and timely so the company can successfully meet the needs of the customer and maintain profitability.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:
Maintain customer files which includes quotes, orders, invoices and samples.

Forward requests for quotes to estimator and return quotes to sales representative and customer.

When a customer places an order;

create item including bills of material and routing

Create a sales order

Plan sales order in order to generate a production work order

If item is not manufactured at Direct, pass to purchaser to order

Confirm order details including price and promise date with the customer

Print out and distribute production docket package

Assist Graphics Team to procure printing plates

Monitor orders progress through production by attending daily scheduling meeting

Attend and lead pre-flight meetings to ensure all information for a new and /or changed item is fully and accurately communicated and understood by all departments.

For customers with multiple orders provide weekly status reports and follow up with any concerns

Assist Quality Manager with quality complaints from customers

Pass shipping information to shipping department

Candidate Requirements:
2 years Customer Service preferably in a multi-step manufacturing facility

Customer Service Grade 12 or better

Works in a systematic, methodical and orderly way yet adapts to changing circumstances.

Good basic understanding of Direct’s manufacturing process

Well organized and can manage multiple customers with many details

Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.

Works independently and re-connects with team when appropriate

Rapidly learns new tasks and commits information to memory quickly

MS Office products – Excel, Outlook, Word

Proficient with ERP system

Following GMP in compliance with all food safety requirements.
