How You’ll Perform the Role

Provide support to the Plant Manager, Plant Supervisors and the HR Manager in maintaining the Safety program. This includes coordinating the training needs of the employees and maintaining training matrix and records. This position also assists with other office management duties including but not limited to procurement, manufacturing support, etc. Essential duties and responsibilities • Co-ordinates and maintains training and training records • Assists in internal H&S audits • Regular review and maintenance of H&S Program policies and procedures • Serves as a Worker rep chair of the Safety Committee • Compiles and reports Environmental, Health and Safety data. • Assists HR Manager with general tasks when required • Procure and maintain miscellaneous supplies. • Provide support to Manufacturing team when required • Coordinate and prepare product samples for shipment for Sales Team • All other tasks and duties, as assigned

What We Need From You

• Grade 12 or equivalent • Certification or work-related experience with Health and Safety • Experience serving on Joint Health and Safety Committee • General office administration experience • Good working knowledge of MS Office including, word, excel and Outlook • Organized and dependable individual that can multi-task
