Novelis Kingston Manufacturing Facility Hiring for Machine Operator at Kingston, ON Full Time

This position is on a rotating 12-hour continuous shift schedule and operators may be trained to work on a variety of machines.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
Proof of grade 12 diploma or equivalent

A clean CPIC

Strong mechanical aptitude

Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team

Demonstrated strong work ethic, and reliability

Ambition to grow within a global company

Comfort performing common operations on a computer

A natural disposition for problem solving

A love of continuous learning

Previous work in a manufacturing or industrial setting an asset

Novelis’ Kingston facility located on the eastern end of Lake Ontario Kingston is midway between Toronto and Montreal. 275 employees cold roll finish and anneal aluminum used in automotive and specialty products for a wide array of customers in North America.
