Our Davenport Novelis team is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for our hourly positions. This position will report to the Sr. Human Resources Manager. These functions include but are not limited to: Production Workers, Equipment Operators, Maintenance Mechanics, Electricians, etc.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Identify and attract highly qualified and diverse talent
- Build a robust pipeline of talent for both current and future roles by actively sourcing candidates
- Build a positive relationship with HR Business Partners, Hiring Managers, Compensation, and other internal collaborators
- Partner closely with Compensation and HR Business Partners to develop offers
- Extend and negotiate offers to candidates
- Create a phenomenal and positive experience for all candidates and hiring managers
- Develop imaginative strategies to attract for critical, hard to fill roles
- Enlighten the business on hiring trends and the candidate market by staying up to date on industry resources
- Act as a company ambassador by representing Novelis culture and business in a positive way
- Increase overall employer brand awareness in the markets Novelis operates in and build engagement strategies for key prospective talent
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field or 1-3 years of experience in full cycle recruiting
- Previous experience recruiting for hourly level roles (highly preferred)
- Shown understanding and experience with applicant tracking systems; iCIMS highly preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter
- Ability to prioritize multiple requisitions while demonstrating a sound sense of urgency
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-motivation to drive results and complete tasks independently
- High level of emotional maturity; comfortable with change and ambiguity
- Proven to be a synergetic teammate contributing to the development of others
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
