Novax Recruitment Ltd Looking for Engineer at Glasgow Full Time

Novax Recruitment are currently recruiting for Senior Engineers to join a leading construction company in the Dewsbury area. With offices stationed across the UK, our client are a leading contractor in the temporary works industry and due to their continued demand are looking to add to their Engineering team. You will be expected to develop, design and deliver cost effective, practical, safe engineering solutions for Standard and Bespoke solutions to customer requirements across a range of product groups.

Job Role

• Develop, design and deliver cost effective, practical, safe engineering solutions for Standard and Bespoke solutions to customer requirements across a range of product groups with the use of CAD and Revit

• Contributing to the design of Groundworks, Formworks/Falseworks and Propping solutions

• Periodically engage with clients and sales teams to develop requirements and final design briefs in order to create suitable solutions and to establish and discuss technical issues

• Finalise client requirements to meet clients timescales

• Produce accurate and suitable general arrangement, detail drawings and special fabrication drawings for bespoke parts and risk assessments

• Support sales, workshop and depot staff by answering queries regarding design and stock questions

Essential Experience/Qualifications

• Degree educated in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
• At least 2 years experience in a similar role (design engineering within the Civils industry)
• Temporary works experienced is preferable
• Experience in the use of AutoCAD t produce high quality designs/solutions
• Experience in the use of Revit, Navisworks or similar BIM software is preferable
• Experience of delivering technical solutions in challenging timescales to meet clients needs
• Strong client facing and communication skills
• Ability to work both individually and as a team
• Full UK Driving License
