Project Solutions Manager

Core Job Functions:

The Lifecycle Services North American team will be the differentiator in the market for NovaSource. The group will move beyond the core monitoring, performance engineering, and field maintenance services and lead the market with value-driven, owner focused solutions. To succeed and solidify it’s place in the market, the team will utilize NovaSource’s unmatched market position of 20GW of data to find meaningful solutions and build out revenue streams for the total addressable PV solar and storage market in North America.

The team will develop solutions to enhance plant performance, focusing on revenue optimization for customer. The work of the group covers the spectrum of plants suffering from underperformance from macro factors such as OEM hardware problems, obsolescence, storm damage, and other drivers of underperformance. The group will combine aspects of asset management, project management, performance engineering, design engineering, procurement, construction, field operations, and cost estimation to deliver measurable results to project owners. The group will leverage direct hires, outside consultants and partners to carryout services; as well as working closely with other departments within the company.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution effort on capital improvement, emergency response, and repowering projects ranging from $1M – $30M.
• Manage subcontractors and influence action to create solutions crafted for unique on-site issues.
• Support creation of scope, pricing strategy, proposals, and sales approach for Lifecycle projects.
• Interface regularly with customers from project inception to completion identifying project needs, communicating engineering solutions, and carrying out execution.
• Effectively manage changes to project scopes, schedules, and costs.
• Manage budget, reconciliation, and other financial management of projects and associated P&L.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/subcontractors for execution of projects.
• Work closely with the Product and Business Development teams to support standardization and additional revenue streams based on successfully executed solutions.
• Support identification of opportunities within the operating fleet.

Experience:

• 10+ years of industry experience within remote renewable energy and/or storage systems (e.g. solar, wind, battery storage, hydrogen power systems)
• 5+ years of project management experience with construction projects or operational improvement project.
• Bachelors degree in engineering disclipine or equivalent technical exposure

Travel Requirements:

• Travel up to 50% of time throughout the US and Canada to visit remote power plant locations, along with meeting with customers at their offices.
• Ability and license to drive to remote power plant locations
