We are excited to lead into 2024 with a newly created role – Group Business Director – Digital Integration ing to the Commercial Director Digital, this is a high-profile national role, responsible for enabling sales team to deliver digital audio revenue targets.
You are known for being a tenacious and driven leader and will be keen to take on the opportunities this role provides including:
• Develop performance data and insight led All of Audio (AOA) strategic sales and business development strategies and associated collateral.
• Train and enable the sales and campaign strategy teams. Grow the podcast confidence and capabilities of the sales force and campaign strategy team via sales initiatives that fill the gaps and help define the opportunity.
• Conceptualise, develop and shepherd through podcast and AOA led integrated sales frameworks and progressive advertorial product.
• Responsible for creating sales strategy and support the AOA sales teams in delivering digital and sponsorship revenue in Podcasts. This includes your ability to leverage and create relationships with agencies and clients to be the face of Nova Podcasts, with a core focus on getting further upstream with comms planners and strategy leads.
• Contribute to product innovation and optimisation through the lens of customer demand and market intelligence.
• Manage relationships with major podcast partners
• Work collaboratively with product, data and audience intelligence teams to ensure we have market leading product and commercial solutions.

• Prior experience of having led a Digital Media function, ideally within the media and entertainment space
• Proven understanding of and experience in Broadcast Digital Media Sales in Australia
• Passion for growing Digital Audio as an industry as displayed by your track record of building and developing sales teams in this area
• Exceptional written and very communications skills with the ability to craft compelling and concise messages for a range of audiences
• Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative Sales campaigns and strategies
• Exceptional organisation skills and project management skills
• Ability to work at a fast pace and multi task
• Strong interpersonal skills, internal and external
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting and manage upwards effectively into NOVA’s leadership and Executive teams
