The Finance Team supporting the YMCA Robin Hood Group is on an exciting journey to mirror the growth and expansion we are seeing across our entire group. We are as passionate as we are ambitious. We have a bold change programme ahead as we embark upon our greatest growth trajectory to date.
So far this year we have added 2 new people to the team but we are ready to add another new Management Accountant to our fantastic team to continue to support and business partner with our services. We need an enthusiastic, passionate and driven Management Accountant to provide a superb level of accounting expertise to our organisation.
This is a wonderful opportunity to genuinely add value. As part of our transformation, we are looking to deliver more support and insight to our divisions so this is your chance to play an integral in this change.
This is not a full number crunching role – yes there is month end/management accounts to be done but we want you to understand the numbers and then add value.
You will join the Service Team meetings and have the opportunity to speak directly to your Management team to seek input, challenge processes and also learn about the current pressures and activities of that Service to enable you to tailor your advice and recommendations to support their specific needs.

About You
You will be an experienced Management Accountant looking for a role where you can use your interpersonal skills to support your technical skills. A CIMA/ACCA qualification would be ideal but your approach to this role and relevant experience is far more important to us.
A background in 3rd sector/not-for-profit experience would be essential to give you the understanding of our complex organisation. You will also need exceptional communication skills to be able to deal with a wide range of stakeholders. You need to build solid and trusted relationships and become a trusted partner.
