We are looking for the right person to lead, develop, drive and deliver the resourcing and attracting strategy to ensure we select the very best talent. The successful person will manage a team of 3 staff and lead the recruitment and representation plan to raise awareness of, engage with and increase the visibility of both officer and staff vacancies within the recruitment market. You will look for innovative ways to recruit and retain staff.
You will design and deliver a range of recruitment pipelines with a focus on attraction from under-represented groups and communities of Nottinghamshire. Publicising these pipelines using social media and engagement events will form a key part of the role.
Serving as point of contact for recruitment, you will work alongside partners, internal and external, to ensure we deliver a unified recruiting strategy and approach. Successful implementation of this strategy will utilise the community engagement already in place in the organisation to ensure our staff and officers are representative of the communities they serve.
You will have previous experience in recruiting talent into an organisation with the ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of business context, working with partners and brand promotion via an array of digital and traditional methods.
When applying, please complete the information on the next few screens referring to the person specification and job description to indicate your suitability for the role. You can also attach a supporting statement of no more than 2000 words and your CV.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Please note that you must obtain your line manager’s sign off if applying for an internal vacancy. This will need to be submitted on the Line Manager Awareness Document (Support form) which is published on the intranet. Any applications submitted without the support document will not be progressed through the process. Completion of the Line Manager Awareness Document does not mean that release from your current role is supported. Should you be successful, a release date will be negotiated between the two departments.
Candidates currently at risk will be required to complete and attach the at-risk pro-forma document.
All applicants will be subject to the Force Vetting Policy.
