This role will plan, co-ordinate and facilitate a programme of education and career development opportunities for research staff at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and our centres of excellence.
Our ambition is to support every individual in research with high quality training, skills development and equality of opportunity to realise their own potential.
This role will support the development of the Research Futures School, to help us to provide in-house training as well as work with the best of external and specialist providers.

Main duties of the job
To support the delivery of the education and training programme which enables high quality research in Nottingham and continues our world-leading reputation for research which changes lives.
Working with our clinical academic and research professional leads to identify research staff training and development needs, plan, organise and oversee appropriate training.
This will include comprehensive learning programmes for MSc/ MRes/ PhD students and clinical fellows to build our future research workforce and attract new talent and skills into clinical research.
To implement an effective and systematic approached to building an annual training plan which will contribute to the delivery of our overall targets and plans for clinical research in Nottingham.
To ensure that the experience of training, learning and development provided by Research & Innovation through the Research Futures School meets the needs of staff, is high quality and is recommended by delegates.
To work with the wider Research Education and Impact team to promote, market and build commercial opportunities for training provision to external delegates.

Salary: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
