An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced HR Assistant to join us to support colleagues in our academic schools. We are based in Nottingham City Centre, but a blend of on-campus and remote working will be possible, and you will also work from both our Clifton campus and Brackenhurst campus in Southwell.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working within a fast-paced and busy HR department and will provide a proactive, customer focused, effective and value-added HR support service. You will be able to work logically and proactively, will have a commitment to providing excellent customer service, and will be capable of managing a high volume of varied activities. You will be a confident communicator and will enjoy developing professional, effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
The role is varied and interesting, and will involve you advising our managers and employees on a variety of HR matters, including:
You will also be responsible for the administration of the above, will support casework as a note-taker, and will have the opportunity to support the HR team in a wider range of generalist activities and projects. Experience of iTrent HR system would be advantageous, although training will be provided.
