Library Academic Skills Tutor

We are looking for four Academic Skills Tutors to provide academic skills one-to-one support and present workshops, across all disciplines, with support aligned to the curriculum. You will need excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate with students on an individual and group basis, enjoy working with students at all ability levels, and be able to demonstrate a strong customer focus. You will also be enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to the development of new and novel approaches to the provision of support in an increasingly digital student environment.

In addition to excellent ICT, interpersonal and communication skills (including fluent spoken English), you will also have a good understanding of the needs of customers and an interest in learning and teaching are vital for this role.

The posts are full-time, 37 hours per week, but these roles are open for consideration of flexible working arrangements. A flexible and team-based approach is essential and Academic Skills Tutors have the opportunity work across sites.

Interview Dates: Interviews will be held on either Monday 29th or Tuesday 30th November 2021.
